Buy altcoin now for a lot of reasons. Current prices are not too high, the growth is increasingly confirmed and a lot of favorable things are coming. But you must choose carefully before making a decision.
Mostly this, buy low and sell high. And always diversify your funds. Invest in 10 altcoins and 10 ICOs that look interesting and project a great future. Don't go all in with a coin.
Depending on the altcoins that you buy it could be a good idea or not to diversify your funds, but I completely disagree with your advise of investing in 10 different icos, if you do that I can assure you that there is a very high chance that you're going to invest in 10 different scams and I do not see the point of giving away the money that has cost you so much time and effort to get to a bunch of scammers that are laughing at you behind your back, invest that money in bitcoin which is by far the best coin.
I think inconsistent price of bitcoin is not good chance to buy and invest with altcoin because to get much profit with altcoin depend with how bitcoin price, if inconsistent keep continue with bitcoin price maybe no good moment to invest with altcoin and price keep lower, when bitcoin have back with higher price so we start for investing with altcoin because guarantee altcoin have higher price.
