I'm just using a shell script. For a Telegram bot it would be nice if I can just provide the data that the bot processes, but that's the long-term plan. For now I spend my free time improving the current version.
Ah ok. If you can hit a URL or make an API call, that should be easy to do. If you dont go for it until I come back home, we can try doing something if you want. I have played with Telegram bots before.
I'd like to take you up on this offer once I have all my data sorted out again.
As an alternative: would anyone be interested in email notifications? If so,
