No. PoS blocks will be generated after you hold some coins in your wallet for certain period of time. For MintCoin the minimum requirement is 20 days. If you move around the coins (for example send to other wallet and then send back), the time will reset for those moved.

So will PoS be implemented in 2 days? That would be 20 days after launch. Or will the first 20 day period start after the mining phase ends?I believe I read that POS begins in about three weeks. All coins that have matured for the 20 period will begin to generate at that point. Those two items are separate.
That's my understanding from what I've read. If it's not accurate perhaps the devs can elaborate.
