Some of you are old enough to remember how long it took to get a GUI. One of the best parts about XMR not having a GUI was when it finally got one, the protocol, and the chain were old and proven enough to handle the greater usage it began to see.

You mean the tail emission? Its so small it shouldn't do a a damn thing its just been overblown by fudders as they have nothing else to point at and say "See its not a ponzie scheme so it can't increase in value".
He prolly means 'XMR created out if thin air'. It's one of the issues why BTC will never adopt CT.
As for the tail emission... It's fine. That's like less than a percent of total XMR in circulation...?
