Ofcourse they need to be active to survive in the market we all know that low sats coins is hard to maintain unless it goes on the top where a bunch of supporters and demand are coming in for the selfkey. You are right, high supply coins are very tough to increase their price, but for they need to show their credibility in the market and it will surely help the coin to increase it's the price in the market once we see an upward trend in the market.
