If it's gonna happen at all, a year or two after halving is likely. Past data shows that within two years after halving there are always a bull run. Let's hope the same trend happens in this halving.

But it's also possible that there may be nothing at all after the halving, just boring sideways. If that what's happen, I don't know if alts ever gonna have bull run again.
