Nowadays, there is no odds to see new donators (with 10 BTC donated), not mention about VIP (with 50 BTCdonated). The last donator is Claymore in 2017. Even he is the last donator, he was the new one in 2017 after a very long time no one donated to the forum (theymos said this).

As I pointed out above, I guess nowadays if one people have convincing reasons, he or she might get acceptance to change username but the odds is still low.
