The price of ETH will be approximately $300 in 2020. My prediction is positive but the next market conditions will show how strong feelings I have. The ETH deserves to be $2000 coin, in my humble opinion.
It all depends on when the ETH fork happens, if it happens in 2020, then of course the ETH price should rise very much, if not, then the ETH price is unlikely to rise much in 2020.
Ethereum has very big emission of coins (2 ETH reward every 15 seconds). If they will not decrease reward they'll have huge inflation and decrease of the price. There are no investors at the moment if you compare situation with 2017. That's why Ethereum developers are obliged to change their policy in 2020. I don't know if the price of ETH will rise, but I'm almost sure that in 2020 they will begin transition to PoS.
