Why did everyone believe in digital "gold" and "silver", the physical prototype of which has real value in many industries. Yes, it may be faith that determines the price of currencies to some extent, but ultimately those cryptocurrencies that will meet all the requirements of end consumers will win, and I do not exclude that these will be altcoins or stablecoins.
Same belief for the great gold rush before.

And it's the same concept that we're experiencing right now. Bitcoin to be the digital gold and Litecoin for digital silver.

Litecoin is abandoned and there is no proper development it will die if team (if any still alive and care about LTC future) doesn't update with new features Along with Bitcoin

Yep the only info I've heard in months, is the main GRIN developer working on Litecoin 'says' he is making progress. This I think was on www.litecointalk.org

But even he only posts like every 2-3 months. Sigh!

I guess it is always prudent to keep in mind all Litecoin Whales are likely Bitcoin Whales first, in the great scheme of things. Litecoin is the unwanted redheaded step-child it seems. Sad
