To be fair, this question has been asked a million times in the telegram and they can't answer (because of the legal reasons i assume).
Imho, they shouldn't have teased about the partners at all. I am happy that i know something is coming, but rumors affect the price and when they don't get followed by anything they create fud.

Agreed. They shouldn't have, but I've seen this happen with the best of intention and undue amount of pressure which you referred to - question asked a million times and some people staking the whole of their existence on having it answered and criticizing/spreading FUD about the project all because it wasn't answered. Hard to not cave in.

To the newbie above. Do attach reference links to your claims. Like the one I'm now attaching to your claim that dusk has no utility:

"Wrt the dynamics of STO fundraising, and to expand on Mels' explanation, Dusk's proposition is closely related to smart issuance and global asset ledger. We understand the theoretical appeal of imposing Dusk as currency for fundraising. However, in the vast majority of simulations we run, it turns out that such imposition would be quite impractical (and even potentially leading to regulatory issues, given the  high volatility that sudden price movements would introduce) for the (regulated) primary market. Instead, alongside with the options of fundraising in Dusk (for a premium) or fiat, issuers are required to stake large amounts of Dusks in order to finance fees for on chain operations. Aside from that, any governance operation (dividend payments, voting, proxy voting, audits, dematerialization, bulletin, plus all other fees coming from dapps focusing on securities) is carried in Dusk. We are also working on a Dusk backed stablecoin, but it is far too premature to elaborate on it"
