I always like to confirm the authenticity of any app or add-on, before using it. Even Metamast and others, had their fakes. I am thinking that Google itself should find a way of checkmating these things. There should be a way in which the system will be selective, even when the user is trying to add any app. I know some people would have fallen victim of this.
