Other improvements are also being worked on with the goal of increasing the speed of play.
Here's how to do that:
1. Stop auto-invoking the player's time bank clock when they are away-from-keyboard or just not paying attention. Only an actual disconnect or a player request should trigger the time bank.
2. When a player times out on a check, put them into immediate auto check/fold mode so that subsequent actions to them in that hand don't require a full clock countdown.
3. Replace the "Auto Blinds" box with a "Fold to any bet" box. There's a already "Wait for BB" and "Sitout next BB" boxes, there's no need for the whole table to wait for some noob to decide if he wants to post his mandatory blind.
4. Require players to click a Ready button at the start of a tournament so we don't have a 5-minute first hand waiting for all the no-shows to time out their turns.
I absolutely agree with this. Waiting for like 30 seconds (or even more) only to see that someone is "Sitting Out" in the end is annoying. On some poker sites it can be 90 seconds, and after playing on such a site for some time, you choose not to go there again. SwCPoker isn't that bad in this regard, btw, but it would be great if the speed of play were even faster than it is now.
