It's football season in America. Real football; men's football; gridiron, pigskins, goalposts, and hard-hitting, corn-fed Americans. One of the big things the NFL does this time of year is celebrate the accomplishments of the year's new players, who are affectionately refereed to as rookies.

Very nice idea, good to see established members of the community "honoring" the new guys - the good ones.
But as much as I like your idea: Sorry for being off-topic BUT........................ I couldnt resist but comment on what I quoted above! There is only one real football and you know it, dont you! 
Obviously you are mixing up things and talk about that something called American Football --> some ppl refer to it as a sport...
