Tech that still to this day works exactly as intended, is still gaining/building liquidity (which is an absolute MUST for future digital money), and 99.99% of the world's population has yet to discover/buy/use, but to him is somehow now "Ancient technology".

I agree with you about John being a waffler who lacks much if any credibility.

I frequently like to assert that we have less than 1% world adoption of bitcoin, so in that regard, I would not go as far as asserting that we ONLY have .01%. That seems a bit on the low end.

Geniuses have always stood on top of other geniuses is what I think he means by "Ancient technology"
The world is moving much faster with a larger number of educated people and of course with the China develops that will compound imho! We are never going back to my Commodore 64 ..."ancient technology"!

With the misinformation and propaganda against Bitcoin we have a much lower adoption... of course until all the investment heavyweight buy all the cheap coins so they can sell them to the "homeless"
It's called the "feed the homeless program" which I coined years ago.

Let's be real...most "sane" investors will not buy Bitcoin until we reach the next ATH! Some of the smartest people I have ever known are just now seeing the light...
