I think calling it "mining" is a misunderstanding. The application that we download to a mobile phone does not use the battery at all. It's just not "mining" and it works like a faucet. We just launch the application once a day and enable the calculation of coins. Very similar to normal faucets, but here we have an application for it.
So it's totally different from how ETN used to be back then? If it's not that much different than faucets, doesn't it make them as useless as faucet is?

As far as I know, mining on your phone will consumed all of your phone resources, e.g, battery life, ram and many more. And sometimes it can cause your phone to overheat.
I have no idea if'll make a difference with phone nowadays, because phone nowadays is very high tech and all.

I assure you that this application does not consume battery. But in my opinion this is not "mining". As I wrote, it is more like refreshing the faucet once a day and collecting coins.
This is not a worthless faucet, because the creators assure you that the coin will enter the exchange. I think that this is more about build a community and I think it works, because according to developers, over a million people are using this application right now.
