A good starting point started in 2020, and the price of Bitcoin has skyrocketed in recent days. I would love to see the prices of other altcoins rise at the same time. 
Well there are 2 kinds of altcoins, one is the well-established and the other is the shitcoins.We can expect popular alts to follow the footstep of btc but not the weak ones.
If alts are really connected to btc then we can say the growth of btc has a positive impact as well to alts.
