Dear Idena community,

We plan to release a new version of the Idena node at 10th of January after 14:00 UTC.
It will be a hard fork. The miner status for all validated nodes will be deactivated. Please be ready for the update.

Planned changes:

1. Peering protocol refactoring (libp2p will be used for the peer discovery)
2. Flips encryption support
3. Flips distribution improvement
4. Fast synchronization improvement (state snapshot will be saved once per 1500 blocks)
5. Duplicate keywords for flip bug fix
6. Block proposer selection improvement
7. Consensus protocol improvement
8. Bug fixes

An additional announcement will be published in 1 hour before the release.
