I certainly don't think that it's property. I don't think that property does that well in an economic recession.

Gold is a hedge against black swan events for sure, but at the end of the day it's bulky and it's hard to transact with. It will remain to be the international reserve asset of choice for a while, but there is no denying that bitcoin has sprung to the scene and will likely play a significant role as being a safe haven asset as well.

At the end of the day, bitcoin is also decentralized, like gold, and is free from government intervention, which is all you ask for in a safe haven asset.
