Really disappointing news. We were all expecting Deribit to either leave the EU or implement KYC, not both. 
They will still allow accounts where no government ID is required (restricted to 1 BTC per day withdrawal), but they'll be collecting name, DOB, address, and country of residence and using Jumio to verify.
That's probably enough to get most US traders like me off their platform. I've been trading there through VPN for a while.
