Depends on what you're trading on. If you're trading alts then yes you need to know all about the development regarding that coin. If you're trading Bitcoin, it's more complex as big things like regulation and world's politics now have effect on the price too. For technical analysis, yes trading view is enough. You don't need to do complex stuff when the simple ones work.
