As time passing by, the demand of the people into bitcoin is constantly changing. As long as the demand will stay as it is or if the demand will become more higher then there is a bright future waiting for bitcoin. There is no altcoins that can surpass bitcoin, even there are altcoins that have more good characteristics than bitcoin; investors are still choosing to make investment with bitcoin because it is already proven that its value is continuing to rise over time.
This conjecture might have not been proved yet but thinking of the fact that if government throws a strong regulation and law concerning the use of cryptocurrency, particularly, to use a single cryptocurrency that is not bitcoin, it will indeed surpass the market price and rank of bitcoin on the top cryptocurrencies worldwide. Because the reason why bitcoin's market price is high is because of the demand of people from it. If an altcoin surpasses that demand and the nature of that particular altcoin is volatile. It might be an end bitcoin being the top crypto.
