On December 23, 2019, Google’s YouTube.com began removing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies related content from the video-sharing platform in what’s being called a “crypto-purge,” leaving content creators in the bitcoin and cryptocurrency vertical unjustly attacked by the web-search conglomerate. According to Forbes, at least 35 crypto-focused YouTube channels were affected by the purge, including ChrisDunnTV, Nugget News, Crypto Tips, and BTC Sessions. More prominent publishers such as CoinTelegraph and CNBC, appear to have been spared. I have found this info here https://techandmedialaw.com/youtube-content-creators-in-bitcoin-genre-red-flagged-was-it-an-error/  but I need more clarification, what actually happened by Youtube?.
Youtube might take this step in order to minimize the amount of scams on their platform. We all are aware about the fact that there are a number of ponzi projects who always end up in scams and due to the number of bounty hunters, the youtube feed mostly goes up running video reviews for such scam projects. This is something which might not be tolerated by the youtube policies and it might bring an end to the crytocurrency promotion onto youtube.

But, what you said is that youtube deleted each of the videos related to the cryptocurrencies but I can yet see a number of video reviews about potential projects on their platform. Does this mean youtube deleted only the videos about the ponzi or scam projects? If yes, then youtube did the correct thing.
