I want to invest in filecoin, what is the probability of 100X?
The Chinese make a lot of hard disk mining coins, such as bhd fst lamb
What's future for these coins?
I don't think it will be as popular as you think it will. I have played around with one of the older coins with a similar concept and found out that it puts too much strain on my network connection. Some of us still have really slow internet speeds and datacaps. The slow internet speed makes it almost unusable for people that want to store large files on my network and it would completely drain my internet connection to the point it was almost unusable. So, despite the fact that I had all of this storage available for people to use, I couldn't really share it with the community. I'm sure it's a good solution for people with good internet service though. But, there's a majority of people in the world that still have horrible internet.
Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong have high-speed Internet bandwidth, and even 5g is about to spread. Where do you live? It is definitely not East Asia. The hardware is already there.
I live in the United States. There's a lot of places here that have slow(at least to todays standards) internet and datacaps. My monthly datacap is 500GB. I can barely even keep my games updated on the PS4 and the Xbox without reaching my datacap. Plus, my upload speed is 2.5mbps. If there is any kind of upload going on, it basically hogs my internet connection and it's pretty much unusable. It's a good idea, but I just don't think the infrastructure is there yet. Much like Google's Stadia.
