My last two weeks experienced is not good I have a lot of penalties, overall I have 60 DNA for penalties and that's almost two days of mining for me, and just when the time for validation occur my wallet cannot sync for some unknown reason, I have tried it again and now monitoring my active peers, so far I have 14 peers a big improvement from 1 peer when I am not yet upgrading to the node.

There is people reporting random penalties.
It has happened a few times to my node and without warning. Node was never down but penalties somehow showed up and mining was off.
IDENA chain might be getting DoS attacks or any such.
I have from 10 to 20 peers after my upgrade I failed to validate the last time, like what I posted I have 60 worth of DNA penalties when I still have 1 peer, these penalties should not happen if we have a good number of peers, so let's see in the coming validation and after that if we are going to still have penalties, I am monitoring my peers connection but it's not disconnecting for the last two days, I hope it will keep up when I am mining again.
The difference is the story that I experienced, not on the slow network of 1 peers but precisely when I want to turn off my PC I forgot not to disable mining and it lasted up to seven hours resulting in a penalty of 62 idena. I regret that I did not read the faq provided, but now I understand and will not repeat it.
