Your suggestion to report them to the FBI won't help much because the satoshi mines are not locally registered.
It's also likely not worth your time considering the FBI probably won't even take any action towards getting your funds back, so the best thing you could possibly take away from this is to keep funds off of third party services whenever possible and only deposit what you need to gamble. I trusted Satoshimines for a period of time as well and I couldn't have predicted this, but preparing for something like this in the future will certainly help.
Same goes for exchanges or anywhere that a service is holding your funds. Not your keys, not your wallet.
