You cant compare Bitcoin with altcoins. If you see the popularity and adoption of bitcoin and the length of being a reality in the market, altcoins wont stand a chance against Bitcoin. There are coins which have potential and can be adopted in mass but it will be harder to beat the King.
In my perspective, I believe that bitcoin will soon become a digital property in which people will hold it, just like gold in the real world. Other altcoins, can replace bitcoin in order to become digital money. As you can see, ethereum, xrp and many other coins have a great potential. THey have great technology, great DAPPS which can easily interact with user. So, right now, bitcoin is a king, but it is hard to say which coin will rule in world in the next decade
