If you tell people that you bought stuff in the internet or even in a shop with Bitcoin, people will become aware of Bitcoin, more so if the stuff that you are showing them have value when you bought it with fiat money, what do you think about this?
It's depends on how they see Bitcoin. Seriously it's harder to convince people to use Bitcoin as currency rather than embrace them to have Bitcoin (IMO). Mostly expect high price rather than the utility itself, so they think Bitcoin is a commodity not currency (although bitcoin can also be considered a commodity). The other problem also come from the regulations, the government say no to Bitcoin as payment.

There are already some companies that have decided to receive Bitcoin as a payment method, they know they can earn much more in the future, because their value can continue to grow. Although it is a matter of risks, because its value can also go down and lose.
Those companies who decided to accept Bitcoin as payment is must be a big company who established their funds. Accept Bitcoin as payment is more risky than trading directly thru the market.
