I have done US wires to Japan multiple times and have gotten prompt results - including one that posted the same day (for me - I wired at noon and was able to trade at 8pm the same night - because that was the following day in Japan).
May I ask you how much these wires have cost you? Are US<->JP wires usually that fast?
