Passing Kobe with a Laker uniform on a Sixers game could be as sweet as it gets Kobe is from Philly and dude is an eagles fan plus he went to lower merion and been always liking Sixers just under Lakers of course. Lebron has been a big part of NBA for about 15 years or so now, he didn't missed much games neither and has been scoring at a great level for all of it as well. I can't believe he is still the dominant player he is at his age, sure he might not be as good as he used to be 10 years ago in physical aspects probably but even at this stage of his career his "decline" is so little that right now he is still better than almost all players in the league, even today if you made a starting 5 you would put lebron in there for sure.

 With just 2-3 seasons more of 20+ ppg dude would pass Kareem as well, from all the looks of it unless something major happens like a big bad injury, he will definitely be the first player to reach 40k points. He can definitely play for another 5-6 years, maybe not at this level we don't know but in a league where Vince Carter can play at 41-42 years old, I am sure lebron would definitely be able to find a place for himself if he wants to, nobody will say no to him even if he becomes just a 10 ppg veteran off the bench in 10 years, he will still get a place in any team, so reaching 40k is definitely possible as long as he doesn't get injured and he wants to continue to play.
