The owner from Xivra is also dutch... really trying to achieve something nice with his coin, but as you all know when coins are moving lower the community is complaining

That is why you need protection from them with fast diff retargets making it not possible for them to mine. That is why forking it and implementing KGW would be my first choice. But if we cannot get our hands on the dev we could just leave things like they are. But you know it will be pumped and dumped all the time, never giving the coin time to mature. Or we could start a second coin on a new blockchain. But then there would be 2 Hobbitcoins. Not really a good thing.
On the other hand when a coin has momentum it can survive these pools. But you need big media exposure, and great community like Dogecoin.
