I fully agree with you. Anything is better than an inflationary currency. Smart people should look to get rid of their fiat currency as soon as possible. Every day you hold a dollar you lose a small percent of it. Of course that you won't feel it in the short term, but in a few years you shall realise that you can't buy half of what you could 10-20 years ago. Also why not expose yourself to a potentially rewarding asset like gold, Bitcoin, real estate, stocks, etc. while you're saving money.
