What I think is it is very essential that you read others blog posts and leave insightful comments. Some people leave generic comments on every post. I never prefer someone to do that. Write meaningful comments. When you read others posts, you get many ideas and you also get familiar with different writing styles. Its also a very good learning and evolving method. Success in blogging comes only by developing a good network with fellow writers. Interaction is the key to success in blogging.
Yes, write comments, questions, and discussion on an interesting topic with any blog that helps you increase your knowledge and get new ideas and this makes you an experienced writer. Also, if you write a comment and put the name or link of your blog below your comment, you will get people interested in your blog field and they will share their comments on your posts and you will get backlinks to your blog. But I do not recommend insightful comments because it is a usual method by spammers, Bloggers delete these comments because they are mostly links to their blogs without a useful comment.
