It's only been few years since Premier League Soccer has started to take a foothold in the US.
It's their MLS (Major League Soccer), if I am not wrong.

You're correct that our national soccer league is MLS but I was talking about the English Premier League, which I believe is more popular here than MLS.  At least as far television ratings are concerned.  MLS is fun, but most of those teams are a far cry from the teams of the English and Spanish leagues.  LAFC, which is the newest club in the MLS has been fun to watch.  Don't get me wrong, there are quite a few MLS fans.  But, I get the impression that any MLS fan is also an EPL fan, but not necessarily the other way around.  I think there are quite a few La Liga fans as well, but I don't follow the Spaniards at all.

Damn, Everton scored two goals from corners in added time of the first half.  Watford should've hold that comfy lead, now back from scratch...
This game along with Brighton next week's fixture might turn out to be pivotal in avoiding relegation considering who else they got on their schedule, some tough ones with United, Liverpool, Leicester, Chelsea, City and Arsenal.

So disappointing.  I was really hoping they could have picked up some points from their last few matches.  The stretch of upcoming matches doesn't instill a lot of confidence for their chances of escaping relegation.  Anything can happen, though.

Valid point, but I'm not sure how they're counting viewership and ratings.  The NFL has been hosting games in England and Mexico every year for the last several seasons in an effort to expand their fan base.  It seems to be working, Mexico has really taken to it.  Of course Canada also has a lot of NFL fans, and they have their own fairly popular league as well.  I'm sure there other countries where the NFL has seen their popularity grow.
