You will have to wait until they go through the bankruptcy process. Then you and everybody else will get a relative share of whatever money is remaining after they pay all their bills.

I'm not sure why you or your brother are so wed to the idea that bitcoins are where you should park all your money. They can be an investment, but you should never put all of your eggs in a single basket.

To be honest i am not, I had some savings lying around for a rainy day that i decided to play around with in bitcoins to see if there was any money to be made, i would never invest my stuff in btc, but then again i am not the greedy one in our family
