There's no safest way to invest is to invest on BTC. There may be dumps but price will surely go back up but of course it will take time. We should always learn how to buy and sell or scalp to earn profits.
price of BTC may go up and down, but price of alts can go up in BTC price
buy by buying alts like Siacoin for example you can double you BTC easily in this year
so i really dont understand why majority voted for BTC
That's the risk when everyone wanna deal with the volatile market. That's a common thing in the speculation market too as so many people will try to pump and dump to gather profit from the market.
Siacoin is not having a good progress on the development progress and it has less demand.
The majority of people will vote for bitcoin caused by it gives more guarantee to bring a sustainable increase in the price of bitcoin compared with altcoin. A simple sentence if that much safer than altcoin. People are taking it as a safe place for who are not experienced in this market (newcomers)
Also betting on the overpriced altcoins is not a good decision anymore and it's better to bet on a new promising coin that can bring a lot of return easily. Elixxir is a very promising project this year is also worth to take it as consideration.
