Just thought I'd give a little more encouragement to our community.  I just took this screenshot of the overall network mining hashrates.  Notice where we are.  #9 behind Bitcoin, Litecoin, Doge (none of these 3 are shown as they'd dominate the pie chart) and then Feather, World, Moon, Lotto, and Nova.

#9  -  with a hashrate of 1363.71 MH/s

There are some big name coins in that list and we are right in the mix with them.

Also, our exchange volume is about 300,000 which is over a 900% increase from when I looked the other day.

Great work, people!  Let's keep it up:
  • Mine MINE MINE!!!  Add mh/s and kh/s if you can and let's keep this thing cranking!
  • Hold your SmartCoin.  If you don't HAVE to sell, DON'T!  Look where the price has been.  Look at where it is going.  Be smart: hold your coin.
  • If you must sell, be smart and DON'T sell cheap!!!  Let the buyers move up to you; don't climb down to them.  You do this by setting ask prices that are higher than the bids.  Make the buyers BUY their way up to your price.  Don't worry about people dropping 1 satoshi below your sell price to make a quick sale.  Stay steady, strong, and smart and the price will rise to your ask.  Over time, we'll pull them up to 0.0001 and then 0.001 and then....who knows where we can go?

Lastly, be smart and don't freak out about market fluctuations.  This coin IS DEFINITELY going to go up and it IS DEFINITELY going to go down.  Neither of these things is permanent.  Markets move second to second, hour to hour, and day to day.  That's OK.  We're looking for steadily increasing value over time - as in weeks, months, and years.  Mine if you can, trade if you want, but don't get caught in the craziness of the market and find yourself buying into peaks and selling into valleys.  Buy when it drops and then work to make it rise again.  There was a moment last night when BTC was flirting with $300.  If you'd sold then you'd have missed the return to the mid $500s now.  If you'd sold all your BTC 2 years ago, you'd have missed out on the run to $1100+

Maybe we're not the next Bitcoin.  That's fine.  But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be smart and aim for that level of success.
