But its really not that simple
from the perspective of those round me, their day to day usage of fiat for making their purchases can, currently, in no way be even remotely replaced by Bitcoin. There is simply no way they are going to change their purchasing habits by trying to use a reduced set of stores instead of their usual ones, so Bitcoin comes nowhere close to their mind from a commerce point of view (let alone ease of use). From an investment point of view, its a high risk product, and as such, in general, one does not tend to go around recommending investments of the kind.
Now on a more reduced scale, some people in my environment
may be more prone to understanding Bitcoin, and look into it, but that is because they have a certain maturity and technical background. If the discussion arises (and it has), then theres an interesting story to tell, but modus propi trying to push it on them is a no go for me.
