Am late here, file has been deleted so I don't know actually what the op is talking about, but as an African, Nigerian precisely, am glad that people are beginning to see the great potentials in crypto, the sooner we African integrate it into our system, the better for us all.
In what way precisely would it be better for Africa and eventually for us all. I mean what makes Africa such a good candidate for crypto in your eyes?
Well, for one thing... some of the poorest people on earth are living in Africa. Most of these people do not have access to Banking systems or they simply cannot afford it. The introduction of Bitcoin will dramatically reduce the transaction fees This will enable a lot of these people to store their wealth without having to sacrifice fees for that privileged and also to pay very small fees to do transactions and/or to withdraw their savings.

A lot of these people are already using M-Pesa on their mobile phones, but the fees are pushing a lot of the poorest people out of the financial system. People will be able to charge a few cents for micro tasks and also collect those deposits, to be used for micro payments.
