may cold storage ba ang coins.ph? at insured ba yun? ...curious lang ako.
Of course meron sila. But the question if insured ba ito?: It's not. Pagdating sa security even high company or high protected security ang mga layer nito, nagagawan pa din ng butas or way to break it. So by all means, kung mangyari man ayan kay coins (wag naman sana) it's all our fault. Hindi naman natin hawak ang private key at custodial wallet ang coinsph kaya in the end wala tayong magagawa.

Read this one, explained by coinsph support:

Your Coins.ph Wallet is a hosted wallet service, which means that the wallet’s private keys belong to Coins.ph and are part of our system infrastructure. This structure also allows Coins.ph to add security features like multi-signature and cold storage solutions to protect your funds as well as integrate directly with other Coins.ph services.

Just like other hosted wallet service providers (Coinbase, Circle, etc), you can use your Coins.ph wallet to store, send, and receive Bitcoin as well as the other cryptocurrencies that we support. Source

If you want to know their hot wallets, which I believed ay kanila ito (correct me if I'm wrong):
Ripple (XRP) - https://bithomp.com/explorer/rU2mEJSLqBRkYLVTv55rFTgQajkLTnT6mA
Holds about: $1.25m
Ethereum (ETH) - https://etherscan.io/address/0xd4f5bf184bebfd53ac276ec6e091d051d0ed459e
Holds about: $200,000+
