IMO, that's not guaranteed, what if ETH 2.0 was launch last year and we know that bitcoin is not that bullish as we are expecting, I think that update would still not gonna push for ETH to rise that high. You are talking of the new ATH, the last time it reached its ATH was when Bitcoin went to $20,000, so I think we need the similar situation.
i think that is partially in correct mate,because from what market tells it is happen after Bitcoin reached that hype $20,089.00 because that Hype ended before december 31 while Ethereum Hit ATH in January 13 at $1,438 so basically it is that is sort of Bitcoin effect but the hype done it by ethereum himself.
Good point there mate. ETH has all it takes to move without BTC hype. POS is a good approach.
