There is this exchange in our country that handles the payment of bills to a lot of platforms.
A lot of people are using it even though they do not know what Bitcoin is because of the freelancers that I know also use coins.ph but they do not know what Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are. I am saying this because even though we are paying Bitcoin to this site, we are not really directly paying it since this exchange converts the money we are paying into fiat. Even though Bitcoin is legalized here in our country, there is only limited use of it. Without this exchange, we can't really use Bitcoin like this. From this, we can say that we can't still use cryptocurrencies as a currency nor a payment system unless more and more people use it until merchants will or might accept it as payment.
