It is not a cryptocurrency , neither uses blockchain tech or whatever. It is like a PayPal

Agreed. Bitcoin offers decentralization and pseudo-anonymity which 'crypto' projects like Libra cannot offer. The question is, do people really care about privacy and stuff? Would the majority actually value it over the stability of such solid companies like Facebook or Google can offer? I don't think they will. However, perhaps these people won't use these such coins either. Being Google does not guarantee to be successful at everything. They've failed in making a social network (maybe you remember Google account circles lol) and an OS, so they might fail with offering a centralized digital cryptographic currency as well.
