We know Manny is a professional boxer, a legend, a champion while Conor, he's in different genre of fighting which is MMA.

That's why people believe he will win here easily against an MMA fighter.

That's what Conor wants, he wants to make this his 2nd professional fight after the Mayweather fight (correct me if I'm wrong).

If the fight is going to be MMA format Connor will have a big edge but if it is going to be a boxing match Pacquiao will win and even knock him out I read in one article that Mayweather did not even take the training seriously and yet he won in a loop sided match, what more if he fights Manny.

For fighters that would be playing into their own rules or game then for sure would really have the edge since theyve been get used to it.Ex.
Manny Pacquiao would fight on MMA rules since hes a boxer then he would have a disadvantage yet he cant utilize on how to use up his limbs and
other techniques which would be needed but somehow it do still have a chance yet we know on how tough boxers are when it comes to stamina.
He do have still chance on winning on MMA but for MMA to Boxing? it would be obvious to tell that chances of mma fighters are really slim.
