So guys in the end of the day how should my config file look like?

cgminer --scrypt  -o stratum+tcp://stratum.fast-pool.com:3001 -u promailer.1x -p x

or

cgminer --scrypt  -o stratum.fast-pool.com:3001 -u promailer.1x -p x
