I don't think so. It will not easy to beat bitcoin because bitcoin already has big fans, and they still use bitcoin as the leader in the crypto world. Google coin itself needs to compete with the other altcoin and not bitcoin, which I am afraid it is not easy to do that because every strong altcoin at the market will not let Google takes their position at the market.
