Possibly all healing, medical or otherwise, is complex placebo effect.
So whenever we operate to cut out a cancerous tumor, it's not removing the tumor that saves the patient's life, it's that somehow slicing in to them with a scalpel gives their body a wake up call to kill the cancer cells. Before we operate, they just don't want to live badly enough.This is some top grade nonsense.
Do people simply die when they lose an arm or a leg? In some cases they do. But often they simply go on with their lives and adapt.
So, what does anything you say have to do with placebo effect? Are you dense, or what?
