Easiest way is to give them something to buy with cryptocurrency, something common for household so people will use crypto every day,
Agree. If you give away some Bitcoin for free, people will be encouraged to use it in the first place. After all, who can't resist something that's free? Aside from that, it's necessary that we introduce the benefits of Bitcoin over Fiat to the general public. If we don't spread the word out there about Bitcoin, people won't be aware that an alternative currency that's independent from any central authority truly exists. Even people who've heard about Bitcoin before, don't know how to use it thoroughly for day-to-day payments. While I have to admit that Bitcoin developers have improved the user experience, there's still a lot of work to be done in order to increase the mainstream adoption of the pioneer cryptocurrency.
Believe me that once people become aware of the benefits of Bitcoin over Fiat, they won't come back to traditional payment processors anytime soon. The only downside of Bitcoin is the volatility in price, but that's because the crypto market is not as liquid as the stock market. The time will come when the world will begin using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in mass. With a friendly regulatory environment for the crypto/Blockchain industry, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies could become an attractive choice for everyday people. Until then, Fiat will continue to be largely trusted worldwide on top of any digital currency because it's stable and widely regulated by the government. It's up to you and me to encourage people to use and support Bitcoin as much as we can for its own benefit. Just my opinion
