Hi, Bitcointalk community. Today I have reached the mark of 1,000 merit:
I would like to share my views on the whole system. And to dispel some myths among newbies to this forum. I also hope that my example will encourage someone to grow in this forum. After all, it is not as difficult as it may seem at first sight. But about everything in order.
My history:
So, this morning, when I went to the forum, I found that I had reached the mark of 1000 merits.
In fact, I am the first newbie with a registration date of 2019, who managed to gain 1000 merits. I registered on 13 June 2019, and on 26 February 2020 I received 1,000 merits. But when I registered, I wasn't interested in merits at all for the first month, I studied the forum, sat in the traders section (and nowhere else) and didn't communicate with anyone (I mean users from other sections).
I got my 1st merit only a month after registration, July 21. http://loyce.club/Merit/history/2627711.html
That is, from the moment of registration it took me 8,5 months to reach this mark, or 7 months and 5 days from the moment of receiving the first merit.
It took me 258 days from registration or 221 days from receipt of the first merit to get this way, ~4 merits per day. In all the time since registration, I have received 563 merit- transactions for my posts.

The statistics below show how much merits was obtained in each month, the most effective being this month, February. I managed to get 220 merits.
And now for the saddest part. Activity. Earning 1000 merits is 4 times easier than earning 1000 Activity. Which means I get Legendary rank only February 23rd....... 2022.
Two whole years!!! I have seen many times that newbies complain about the forum and the merit system, that it is difficult to get rank with this damn merit. Really? Oh, they're kidding. ACTIVITY!!! Now, that's a really tough thing. I'm gonna be the first newbie to break the system, who's gonna complain everywhere about how hard it is to dial activity. 
At this rate, for these 2 years of waiting you can earn another 2-3 thousand merits. It is not difficult really.
Conclusion
So, where am I going with this? This topic I want to tell all newbies and not only that it is very easy to get merits on this forum. The main thing is... ...do something useful. I've already talked about this in my past topic. My 100 days on Bitcointalk
I would also like to dispel the myth that merits can only be earned by a pro, techie or if you know and are friends with sources of merit. Again, I will say by my own example that I came to the forum in the local section, I didn't know anyone, I came here not to share my knowledge (except for trading), but to receive it. I am not a techie, not a developer, or a bitcoin expert. That's why it doesn't matter. What is important is your contribution to the forum.
Even if you are an unknown newbie, you will be noticed by the community if you share useful information and everything like that, dedicate your time to the development of this forum. And if you come here with the idea that every letter of yours on the forum should be paid for, or you want to monetize your presence by filling a pile of monotonous bounty reports, then you will be treated accordingly.
The forum community will have a loyal attitude towards any useful newbies. And monetization from the forum will come in due course. Don't get ahead of yourself.
Also other newbies to 2019 registration show good results, this is zasad@ - 773 merits and Rikafip - 696 merits. These newbies to 2019 also prove that getting a lot of merits is no problem. My congratulations to them for their work.
I hope my story will inspire someone and we will soon see a similar theme with the attainment of 1000 merits, but already from a newbie with registration in 2020. As practice has shown, to get 1000 merits for 7 months, even in the local section - it is not so impossible task.

The statistics below show how much merits was obtained in each month, the most effective being this month, February. I managed to get 220 merits.
- July 2019 - 2
- August 2019 - 50
- September 2019 - 56
- October 2019 - 101
- November 2019 - 197
- December 2019 - 209
- January 2020 - 174
- February 2020 - 250
And now for the saddest part. Activity. Earning 1000 merits is 4 times easier than earning 1000 Activity. Which means I get Legendary rank only February 23rd....... 2022.
Two whole years!!!
I have seen many times that newbies complain about the forum and the merit system, that it is difficult to get rank with this damn merit. Really? Oh, they're kidding. ACTIVITY!!! Now, that's a really tough thing. I'm gonna be the first newbie to break the system, who's gonna complain everywhere about how hard it is to dial activity. At this rate, for these 2 years of waiting you can earn another 2-3 thousand merits. It is not difficult really.
Conclusion
So, where am I going with this? This topic I want to tell all newbies and not only that it is very easy to get merits on this forum. The main thing is... ...do something useful. I've already talked about this in my past topic. My 100 days on Bitcointalk
I would also like to dispel the myth that merits can only be earned by a pro, techie or if you know and are friends with sources of merit. Again, I will say by my own example that I came to the forum in the local section, I didn't know anyone, I came here not to share my knowledge (except for trading), but to receive it. I am not a techie, not a developer, or a bitcoin expert. That's why it doesn't matter. What is important is your contribution to the forum.
Even if you are an unknown newbie, you will be noticed by the community if you share useful information and everything like that, dedicate your time to the development of this forum. And if you come here with the idea that every letter of yours on the forum should be paid for, or you want to monetize your presence by filling a pile of monotonous bounty reports, then you will be treated accordingly.
The forum community will have a loyal attitude towards any useful newbies. And monetization from the forum will come in due course. Don't get ahead of yourself.
Also other newbies to 2019 registration show good results, this is zasad@ - 773 merits and Rikafip - 696 merits. These newbies to 2019 also prove that getting a lot of merits is no problem. My congratulations to them for their work.
I hope my story will inspire someone and we will soon see a similar theme with the attainment of 1000 merits, but already from a newbie with registration in 2020. As practice has shown, to get 1000 merits for 7 months, even in the local section - it is not so impossible task.
