I still had the same email address so I sent them all the information I had, and pointing them in the direction of this thread. Got an email last week saying "The account has been queued for recovery using this email address <-------------> and it will be done automatically in 7 days." I waited the 7 days and got the email today titled " Manual recovery complete " which said "The email address of your account has now been updated, and the account is unlocked."

Could take some screenshots of the emails. Not sure how else to give you proof.
