Actually, it's a good marketing strategy. I too received the frozen airdrop few weeks back. Before the airdrop I didn't even know what KICK is, now I and most the users who received the tokens know that they are an exchange. Why did they pump the prices up before airdropping? Because, nobody will bother to look into a token worth few dollars, so they just manipulated prices during the airdrop and made some newbies believe that they received some KICK worth several hundred dollars for free.

Since, the token are locked and no specific time has been given by the team about the unlock, I highly doubt they'll come up some fancy idea of requesting users to deposit funds into their exchange and start trading to get your address whitelisted to move the tokens. Beware, if they come up such an idea and don't put funds into their exchange to move your airdrop.
